    Patrick Neal ClineBroadway - Patrick Neal Cline, 55, of Broadway, passed away on Friday, October 4, at his Cline was born on May 9, in Staunton, and was a son of the late. Surviving are two sisters, Mabel Swank Ruddle of Singers Glen and Madeline Swank Cummins of Lexington, Ky. The funeral will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday at the Donovan United Methodist Church in Singers Glen by the Rev. William Winfree. Burial will be in the Singers Glen Cemetery.

    Rita was born on to the late Juanita Ruddle Wrenn and late Richard Paxton Wrenn. She was also preceded in death by her brother Don “Buck” Wrenn. All of Singers Glen, Va. The Present The Donovan Memorial United Methodist Church, located at Singers Glen Road, is nearing a century of service. Inhe wrote his first book about his local church “The Donovan Memorial Church in the Singers Glen Community.” Since retiring, he’s had much more time to devote to his writing.

Over the years, in addition to many articles and newsletters, he’s written or contributed to three books. The Donovan Memorial Church, in Singers Glen, Va., is named for Rev. John D. Donovan and is still in use today. Rev. John D. Donovan was the eldest son of George Washington Donovan and Lee Ann Swecker Donovan.

His mother died when he was small and his father married Mary Elizabeth Weller. George and Mary had four more children but Mary loved and treated John as one of her own.
